How To Create NFTs in 2 mins and Gas Free ⚡️

In this Newsletter, we will be showing you how to create NFTs in under 2 mins and GAS FREE!! This video is a quick rundown of the process and for the purpose of this tutorial, we are using our very own Quest NFT Platform. The rest of the newsletter breaks down the process end to end minting process in a more detailed manner.
First things first, you might be asking WHY do we even want to mint an NFT, and WHAT does minting even mean?
Digital content gets its unique identifier when the NFT is “minted” on the blockchain. The blockchain is a decentralized system of computers that is unchangeable and tamper-proof. When an NFT is minted on the blockchain, it can be tracked to verify the authenticity and to also see past history and owners.
How to go about minting an NFT
Step 1: Create your MetaMask wallet
Click on the MetaMask fox icon.
Click “Get Started” — you’ll see two options — “Import wallet” or “Create a Wallet”.
Assuming you are new to wallets, click on “Create a Wallet”.
Create and confirm your password, make sure it’s unique and not used anywhere else! Agree on terms and hit “Create”. You now own a MetaMask wallet! 🚀
After creating your wallet, you’ll be able to see your seed phrase (12 word sequence). Write this down immediately on 2–3 pieces of paper and store them in a safe location.
Confirm your Secret Recovery Phrase by selecting each phrase in order.
Step 2: Add MetaMask extension to your Chrome browser.
Download chrome here or open chrome.
Go to ‘MetaMask’ chrome extension.
Click on “Add to Chrome”
Once downloaded, view the MetaMask fox icon through the puzzle piece icon. Once you pin it, it will appear as a pinned extension.
Step 3: Mint from a NFT minting Platform
You can mint an NFT from multiple platforms or marketplaces such as Opensea, Rarible, and more. For this tutorial, we are using our own Quest NFT Platform.
Go to Quest App and click on login.
You will be asked to login with your wallet that you created above.
Then you will be asked to sign-in with Instagram.
Then click on Create, and choose from any of the options

On the minting page enter details of your NFT such as Name, Price, Number of NFTs, and Description, and then click on Mint NFT
Then you will be redirected to your metamask wallet to sign the contracts twice
Upon signing, the NFT will be minted and you can view it on your Quest Profile page and on the Rarible Marketplace.
Voila, you minted an NFT on the Blockchain!!
